Cast of Skye of the Damned

Lauren Steinmeyer.jpg
Lauren Steinmeyer (Skye MacKenna)
Originally from St. Louis, MO, Lauren has been in love with acting since she was eleven years old playing Amaryllis in her local high school's production of The Music Man. She moved to New York when she was 19 and graduated from The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. Always a huge nerd, she's been a huge fan of urban fantasy and science fiction ever since she could remember and was thrilled when she finally got the chance to play with swords and act out a real-life fantasy.
Kara Addington ( Madison Park)

Currently a NYC based actress and body paint model originally from Scotia, New York. She would describe herself as Part Lucille Ball, part Zooey Deschanel, and part chameleon... "I feel way more comfortable when you're laughing at me or I'm dressed up as someone else."

Briana Redmount (Joelle Meadows)

Briana is a New York based actor who graduated from Ohio University in June of 2012, earning her BFA for Theater Performance. At OU she studied techniques such as Meisner, Chekhov, Fitzmaurice, and Linklater and became SAFD certified in unarmed and single sword. Some memorable roles include Dottie in Killer Joe, Beatrice in The Servant of Two Masters, Little Stone in Eurydice, Luciana in The Comedy of Errors, and Katrin in I Remember Mama.

Since graduating, Briana has worked with Mabou Mines, the 13th Street Repertory, Vampire Freaks, Small Town Pictures, and the Drilling Company.

Sara Hoegrefe (DJ Phaedra)

Brooklyn based actress/comedienne/writer. I have a big heart and a huge imagination.  Lovable goofball, lover of hiking, the beach, good food, and bourbon old-fashioned’s on crisp Autumn nights with good friends!

"My goal is tell stories that illuminate humanity in all its different facets: the good, the bad, the ugly, the hilarious.  Stories connect us all and through experiencing them, we deepen our understanding of ourselves in the world.  I am a firm believer that laughter is the best medecine and that every good story should be sprinkled with some.  If we can't laugh at ourselves, then we are taking ourselves too seriously!"
